Dr. Cindie Brown

My name is Dr. Cindie Brown. I was born and raised in Tucson, where I decided to be a veterinarian at the age of three. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and then fulfilled my dream when I earned my veterinary degree from Colorado State University. I did a 1-year internship at a Mesa veterinary hospital and began working at VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital in 2003 and Bark Avenue Animal Hospital in 2018. My areas of interest include chiropractic care, complementary medicine, surgery, chronic pain, feline medicine, and dermatology. In April of 2015, I was certified in veterinary medical acupuncture. My current pets include 1 dog: Jack, a slightly neurotic German Shepherd/Lab mix, and 2 cats: Stinky, a calico cat who was living in a parking lot before I rescued and brought home, and Crash, who was run over by a car and spent several years as a hospital cat. I also have an Arabian horse named Levi, I enjoy taking him to shows, on trail rides and he even pulls a cart. I love saltwater fish, gardening, growing orchids and last but not least, playing the harp.
